After a two day wait to get approval from the center, Yeddyurappa meets the governer this morning. He will be taking oath as Chief minister at 6 Pm today.
After the dramatic two weeks in Karnataka assembly, the Kumaraswamy coalition government lost the trust vote followed by Kumaraswamy resignation as the CM.
This will be Yeddyurappa´s fourth stint as a CM. Mr. Yeddyurappa has never completed a term. His last term was in May 2018 after Karnataka elections which lasted just 48 hours, not having enough numbers. This led to Congress and Mr. Kumaraswamy’s Janata Dal-Secular tying up to keep the BJP out of power.
